This architecturally designed house boasts a contemporary aesthetic, with a spacious and open plan living space that takes advantage of the stunning views of Kunyani and the Tasman Bridge. The living and dining areas can be opened up to extend the living space outside on pleasant days, allowing for an even greater appreciation of the surroundings.
Generous egress throughout the house is facilitated by passageways flooded with natural light provided by highlight windows, creating a bright and welcoming environment. The design also prioritizes thermal efficiency, taking advantage of the Northerly aspect of the site to ensure a comfortable living environment year-round.
All required living amenities are located on one easily accessible floor, with access and egress designed to comply with AS1421.1 standards to future proof the house. Additionally, the house features additional amenities and living spaces downstairs, perfect for accommodating visiting family and hosting gatherings.
Overall, this architecturally designed house combines sleek, contemporary design with functionality and comfort, creating an ideal living environment that showcases the natural beauty of the surrounding area.
We engaged JJJ Dwyer Design to design us a house that was energy efficient, encompassing the water and mountain views and utilising natural lighting.
From our initial briefing to the completion of the drawings, Jeremiah was always responsive and available to answer our questions providing valuable suggestions for the overall design that met our requirements and wish list.
The completed design was presented to us novices in a virtual house presentation along with the hard drawings that could be easily understood and within our budget for the building project.
He also undertook regular site visits monitoring the progress of the build.
We are delighted with our finished house exceeding all our initial expectations.
